LORENA MARTINEZ, Practice Director and Patient CoordinatorLorena has been with the Aestheitc Plastic Surgery Pavilion since 2008. She is a leader as Practice Director and Patient Coordinator and enjoys her position. She has a B.S in Business Administration with an International Business Option. Lorena has over 7 years of experience as a Director in various fields. With over 15 years of Customer Service experience Lorena brings caring, understanding, professionlism and passion to our practice.
KIRSTEN STYPULA, Medical AssistantKirsten is Dr. Zuniga's Medical Assistant, and has been with the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Pavilion team since 2002. Kirsten has worked in several areas of the office before becoming certified as a Medical Assistant. She enjoys the field of Plastic Surgery where she gets to know her patients while seeing them through their experience. She looks forward to continuing her career in plastic surgery. Kirsten is currently enrolled in classes and working toward her R.N. degree.
VERONICA MENDOZA, Receptionist
Veronica has been on our team at the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Pavilion since 2007. She has 8 years of experience in the medical field and has worked in various areas of medicine. She began her career at Physician's Hearing Services and was then recruited by Asthma, Allergy and Immunology which used to be located at Central California Ear, Nose and Throat. Veronica's warm demeanor and great personality showcase her 10 years of exceptional customer service skills and her beautiful smile welcomes everyone to our practice.
NALENE ESPARZA, Medical AssistantNalene is Dr. Carl Askren's Medical Assistant. She has almost 7 years of experience on our medical team at the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Pavilion. She has worked in multiple front office positions prior to moving to the position of Medical Assistant. She loves the field of Plastic Surgery and enjoys her job. Prior to working with Dr. Askren, she had several years of experience in customer service. She enjoys working with all of her patients.
Julie Caudillo, Medical Assistant
Julie is the newest member of our Aesthetic team, she is a certified medical assistant and assists both Dr. Carl Askren and Dr. Stephen Zuniga. Julie has over 4 years of experience in the medical field. She enjoys working with patients.
LISA BLAZER, Medical Records Lisa has over 10 years of experience in the medical field. She joined our team in August of 2005. Lisa works in the Medical Records Department and also covers many other areas of the office when needed. Prior to working with us, she worked in a multi-specialty clinic. Lisa has many strengths which include exceptional customer service skills, multi-tasking, and strong organizational skills that have assisted her in all areas of her life.
 KIMBERLY TAYLOR, Medical AestheticianWith 13 years of experience in aesthetics and training in both the U.S. and Europe, Kimberly brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and traditional European spa methods to our practice. As a prior Five Diamond Spa Director, Medical Aesthetician and spa owner/operator, she holds numerous certifications with specialties in anti-aging therapies and acne treatments as well as medical Microdermabrasion and chemical peels including Obagi and various others. Kimberly is currently pursuing her international license through C.I.D.E.S.C.O.
 MARJI VOTAW, Aesthetic Nurse SpecialistMarji Votaw is an RN with over 25 years experience in nursing. She has 17 years as an operating room nurse with experience in multiple specialties including Plastic Surgery. Her experience also includes being the surgery co-coordinator of a small surgery center that utilized several types of Aesthetic lasers. Marji is a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Nurses. She is also a Licensed Aesthetician who has combined her medical background with her skin care training since 2005. Marji is currently giving injections of Botox and Dermal Fillers under the direct supervision of Dr. Askren. She is also operating the Lumenis One system for Intense Pulse Light treatments and Laser Hair Removal.
