BREAST

Breast procedures are among the most common that we perform. These encompass a wide range of surgeries, from simple breast augmentation to more complex reconstructions.

Aesthetic breast enhancement can take the form of Breast Augmentation, Breast Lift (Mastopexy), or a combined procedure (Augmentation-Mastopexy link). These techniques may be used to correct an asymmetry, where one breast may be larger than the other. Preoperative breast shape dictates what must be done to create breasts that not only have improved symmetry, but also have a shape that approaches the aesthetic ideal.

Breast reconstruction may be performed for acquired absence of part or the entire breast, as in lumpectomy or mastectomy. Reconstruction may also be performed to correct congenital (in-born) deformities where there is little or no breast development.

Your breast surgery will be performed under general anesthesia at the Facial Surgery Center, a state licensed outpatient operating facility. Anesthesia is administered by a board certified anesthesiologist.
